To make disciples of Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, Bible study and service.
We have a place for you. Join us this Sunday!
– I believe all should be invited to the table.
– I believe in ubuntu theology that states if one member is sick, we are all sick.
– I believe in nonviolence.
– I know I am equally righteous and equally a sinner simultaneously.
– My theology is liberationist.
– I affirm the creeds of the church and the literal resurrection.
The areas I am most passionate about in ministry include working with those who are experiencing the foster care system whether that be children experiencing foster care, foster parents, or biological parents. This comes out of my passion of working with children, particularly elementary age. I also have a passion to work with those experiencing joblessness, homelessness, food insecurity or whatever else may befall any one of us at any time. Others may experience things we never will, and the church must be proactive in preventing this from occurring in our churches and communities. This includes standing up for those being oppressed by racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other situation where the neck of an individual is being stepped on whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Matthew 25:31-46 is especially important to me as these commands are just as much for the church as the individual Christian.
